This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 6th Medical Battalion. The DI is a crest with a diagonal red banner bearing a torch.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. N.Y. and maker's mark.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The DI has some very light wear and tarnish on its reverse.
