This is a 1950s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 156th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows the top of two pole weapons and reads GUARDIANS OF JUSTICE.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with maker's mark and 9M.
