This is a 1950s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 311th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows one green and two gold fleur-de-lis and reads Garg'n Uar (sic) Dhuisgear (fierce when roused).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
