This is a large 1950's Southern Airways flight school jacket patch. Southern was responsible for training United States Army helicopter pilots during Vietnam. The patch is black and gold felt and shows a white plane flying in just under the large cursive S at the beginning of "Southern".
VINTAGE:Circa 1950's.
SIZE:Approximately 5-7/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Flocked felt.
