ARTIFACT:
This is a circa 1950 flight attendant wing 1st issue for Southern Airways, a company which flew from 1949 to 1979. Southern Airways also trained United States Army pilots during the 1960s. The wing shows a lone gull in flight.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1950.
SIZE:
Approximately 9/16" in height and 1-15/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
