ARTIFACT: This is a 1950s Mexican knife by Cervantes of Oaxaca. The knife has a great eagle head on its handle, an ancient city scene on one side of the blade, and an engraving on the other side that translates to: I am Mexican and I choose my temper. Esto es un cuchillo de MŽxico 1950 por Cervantes de Oaxaca. El cuchillo tiene una gran cabeza de ‡guila en su mango, una escena de la ciudad antigua en un lado de la hoja, y grabado una en el otro lado: Soy mexicano de origen y por mi temple me elijen.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 10-3/4" in length and 2-3/4" in width (sheathed). Aproximadamente 10-3/4 "de largo y 2-3/4" de ancho (con funda).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, leather. Acero, cuero.

ATTACHMENT: Two slits in sheath for hanging. Dos aberturas en cubierta para colgar.

MARKINGS: CERVATES OAX MEXICO.
