ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1950s souvenir pocket or grooming knife for Matson Lines. Established in 1926 with the purchase of Oceanic Steamship Company, Matson ran routes all over the Pacific. The knife has the company's enameled red swallowtail pennant on one of the mother of pearl slabs. It is in excellent condition and has a scissor, and three blades, one with a file surface.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 2-3/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, mother of pearl, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Folding blades/scissor.

MARKINGS: AS maker mark on one blade.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The knife has very little wear.
