ARTIFACT: This is a circa mid-1950s pilot hat badge for Maritime Central Airways (MCA). MCA was a Canadian airline formed in 1941, and it later merged with Eastern Provincial Airways in 1963. The badge was made by Scully of Montreal and is enameled at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa mid-1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two screw posts with disc backings.
