This is a United States Navy Construction Battalion or "Seabees" fatigue shirt patch from the 1950s-1960s. It reads SEABEES and shows the black outline of a bumblebee with a sailor's hat holding a variety of construction tools.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950's - 1960's.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX07 LBHX1/11 SBHX04/22
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light to medium wear, especially along its edge.
