This is a nice variant patch for the United States Navy Construction Battalion or "Seabees". It reads SEABEES and shows a bumblebee with a sailor's hat holding a variety of construction tools. In this version, the bumblebee is smiling.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-1/2" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.
