This is a first type United States Navy Construction Battalion or "Seabees" patch from World War II. It reads CB (instead of the later "SEABEES") and shows a bumblebee with a sailor's hat holding a variety of construction tools with four flight lines behind him.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" height and 2-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The patch shows some light to medium wear and some small spots of discoloration.
