ARTIFACT:

This is a 1948 United States Medical Corps (US Marine Corps Corpsman Officer) commission with the real signature of the Secretary of the Navy, John L. Sullivan. The commission is for Robert Irwin Katz and is numbered 375031 over an embossed Navy Department seal .

VINTAGE:

Circa 1948.

SIZE:

Approximately 10-1/2" in height and 7-15/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Printed, embossed paper.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

375031 and signed JOHN L. SULLIVAN.
