Description
This is a World War II United States Navy aviation green uniform jacket with a beautiful, early-style bullion wing. The jacket is named to Lt. (jg) John O. Hanan, co-pilot in Crew 12 of Navy Patrol Bombing Squadron 118 (VPB-118). The squadron performed bombing raids between December 1944 and August 194There is a single black star within a circle embroidered upon each sleeve cuff. SIZE:No size tag: approximate size 38.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Jacket: wool with silk lining, brass buttons; wing: wool embroidered in bullion and cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:Three buttons.
