ARTIFACT:

Beautiful and salty WWII United States Navy bullion pilot wing. The wing is embroidered with bullion on 'Aviation Forest Green' gabardine wool and shows an anchor bearing a shield in the center and nicely detailed wings on either side.

Circa WWII

Approximately 3 ½" x 1 ¾"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Aviation Forest Green gabardine wool, cotton/polyester thread, bullion, gauze backing

To be sewn on.
