ARTIFACT:

This is a 1946 Pennsylvania Resident Citizen's fishing license celluloid badge. The badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, New jersey and is numbered 23712.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1946.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS:

THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK N.J. PAT. number on reverse; union mark on edge.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from an old Pennsylvania hunting and fishing license collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX14 LCIX3/14
