ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1925 New York resident hunting and trapping license badge issued by the State of New York Conservation Commission. The badge was made by Bastian Brothers in light blue celluloid and is numbered 261640.

VINTAGE: Circa 1925.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin, paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin with loop catch.

MARKINGS: 261640 on front; BASTIAN BROS. CO. paper label.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New York hunting and fishing license badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX14 LEEX1/14 SEEK11/21

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has only light wear; some very minor staining to the paper label only.
