ARTIFACT: This is a rare 1919 New York hunting and trapping license badge issued by the State of New York Conservation Commission. The badge was made by Bastian Brothers in light green celluloid and is numbered 209501.

VINTAGE: Circa 1919.

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin, paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin with loop catch.

MARKINGS: 209501 on front; BASTIAN BROS. CO. maker label on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New York hunting and fishing license badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBHX14 LACEX8/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has little wear, minor staining to the paper label and a small area of foxing along the edge.
