ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover 1945 book entitled "We'll Say Goodbye: Story of the "Long Rangers" - 307th Bombardment Group (HV)", written and illustrated by members of the 307th themselves. The book is named for the Rangers' song "We'll Say goodbye". The book deals with the 307th's more than two long years of warfare and has fantastic graphics and several photographs recording the Group's Pacific travels. Also included with the book is a period 2 page ordering form from the publisher, F.H. Johnston Publishing Company of Sydney, Australia. This copy of the book has a red cover.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945.

SIZE: 108 pages with black and white photographs; approximately 11-1/4" in height and 8-3/4" in width and 5/16" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cloth-covered cover, glossy paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: Published for 307th Bombardment Group (HV) 13th U.S. Army Air Force by the F. H. JOHNSTON PUBLISHING COMPANY 34 Jamieson Street, Sydney Australia Passed by Base Censor, 13th AAF, April 24, 1945 Registered in Australia for transmission by post as a book.
