ARTIFACT:
This is a rare United States Army Air Forces book entitled: "Warpath: A Story of the 345th Bombardment Group(M) in World War II". The 345th, also known as the "Air Apaches", flew B-25s in extremely hands-on missions against the Japanese. Units who were a part of the 345th, such as the 498th, 499th,, 500th and 501st Squadrons, each have a section in the book dedicated to their activities. The last section of the book is a list of the men of the 345th. The book's cover is embossed with a great Air Apaches insignia. The book was published by Newsfoto Publishing on San Angelo. Texas.
