ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1944 War Area Service Corps (China) diary once belonging to Albert W. Bloom, Major, Field Artillery, U.S. Forces, China Theater. There is a photograph of Chiang Kai-Shek affixed to one of the pages and one of Captain Bloom's cards is also included. We also have another item once belonging to Bloom for sale separately (please see link at bottom of page for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa 1944 (World War II).

SIZE: Several pages (unnumbered); approximately 5" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cloth-bound cover; paper, one photograph.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: Albert W. Bloom written on first page.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII United States Army book collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX06 LEEX1/14 SEEX8/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The diary has some light wear.
