ARTIFACT: This is a 1940s distinctive insignia for the United States 82nd Airborne Division Artillery. The DI is a cannon bearing a red fleur-de-lis and reads MASS THE FIRE.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: A.H. DONDERO INC. WASHINGTON D.C.
