This is a beautiful Trans-Canada Airlines lapel pin in sterling silver by Birks. TCA flew from 1937 to 1965 when it changed its name to Air Canada. The pin is a petite wing and shows a great multi-hued maple leaf at center against a field of cobalt blue.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel and brass backing.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:BIRKS STERLING.
