This is a 1940s five years of service lapel pin in sterling silver for Northeast Airlines, formerly Boston-Maine Airways. The pin is a wing with a red and blue enamel center showing the head of a male Pilgrim.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/16" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enameled areas, brass backing.
ATTACHMENT:Single post with clutch-back backing (was modified from a pin-back).
MARKINGS:G (marking covered by new backing).

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some of light to medium tarnishing and all enamel is intact.
