This is a circa 1940s National Airlines stewardess hat badge 1st issue type The badge is nicely enameled and shows a white swallowtail flag labeled NAL against a deep red background.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
