Description
This is a handsome circa 1930s or World War II bronze medal for the Deutscher Schützen Verband or D. Sch. V. (German Shooting Association). The D. Sch. V. was started by Hermann Goring in 1937 as the only government-controlled competitive shooting organization. The medal is a wreathed eagle hanging from a bar: bar is in brilliant green enamel and shows two rifles crossed in front of a target at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s or World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal kick pin on bar with C catch, two suspension rings.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The medal shows some light wear and tarnish; all enamel is intact.
