Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful member lapel pin for the Deutsches Luft Verband, the Civil Aviation branch of the Nazi Party. This badge was made in the pre-WWII years when the DLV was secretly training pilots for the soon-to-emerge Luftwaffe. The pin is in plated tombak and enamel and shows the silhouette of a plane bearing up a black swastika.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 1-3/18" in width.
