Description
This is a high-quality 1930s member stick pin for the Deutsches Luft Verband, the Civil Aviation branch of the Nazi Party. This badge was made in the pre-World War II years when the DLV was secretly training pilots for the soon-to-emerge Luftwaffe. The head of the pin is a propeller with Deco wings bearing a swastika.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/16" in height by 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Straight pin.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has some small areas of light wear, oxidation and tarnish and all enamel is intact.
