ARTIFACT:

This is a Belgian Air Force lapel badge for the 9th Observer Squadron, 6th Group, 1st Regiment. The badge shows the head of a Native American man in full headdress encircled by a blue ring.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s – World War II.

SIZE:

5/8" height and 7/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated with multi-colored enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.

ITEM NOTES:
