ARTIFACT:

This is a Belgian Air Force lapel badge for the 3rd Fighter Squadron, 2nd Group, 2nd Regiment. The badge shows a red origami wing encircled by a slender red ring.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s – World War II.

SIZE:

3/4" height and 5/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated with red enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Lapel stud.

MARKINGS:

P. DEGREEF BRUXELLES 112 RUE DE MIDI.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-): All enamel is intact and badge has only some small spots of light tarnish.
