This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States 17th Field Artillery Regiment by Meyer. The DI shows the castle of Ehrenbreitstein at its center with a diagonal bend bearing seventeen stars.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, 2 stabilization points.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER NEW YORK with raised maker mark.
