ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s United States Air Corps type pair of aviator sunglasses in their original hinged case. The glasses are bendable at center and the arms are wrapped in leather.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Case has approximately 2-5/8" height and 5-5/15" width and 3/4" depth; length from lens to end of arm is approximately 5" .

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Case: felt-lined painted metal; sunglasses: leather-wrapped wire arms, brass details and tinted glass lenses.

ATTACHMENT: Glasses have looped arms.

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Case is quite worn but still opens and closes; glasses are wearable and have very little wear to lenses.
