This is a 1930s Paris Fire Brigade badge showing the city's coat of arms and a medal of honor at the bottom. The motto "Sapeurs Pompiers, Sauver ou Perir..." means "firefighters, rescue or perish..."
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:About 1-3/16" in width by 2-15/16" in height (47mm by 30mm).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted and enameled brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with a simple catch and a saddle for attaching pin to badge-back.
MARKINGS:DRAGO PARIS NICE.
