1920s US Army 26th Infantry Division (Yankee Division) Shoulder Patch

This is a shoulder patch for the United States Army 26th Infantry Division. The patch is diamond-shaped and bears an interlocking capital "Y" and "D" that stand for the Massachusetts group's nickname, the "Yankee Division".

Circa 1920's.

3-5/8" in height x 3-3/16" in width.

Olive drab wool felt patch with a dark blue wool applique attached with black silk/cotton threads.

To be sewn onto uniform.
