ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s National Aeronautic Association of the United States (NAA) lapel pin in sterling silver. The NAA replaced the Aero Club of America in 1923 and is the oldest aviation organization in the United States, responsible for keeping records and presenting certain awards. The pin is enameled in blue and reads NAA at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1/4" in height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a civil aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEX95 LDEX7/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The pin has light wear and some minor tarnish and a sliver of enamel is missing.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
