This is a 1920s National Aeronautic Association of the United States (NAA) eagle lapel pin. The NAA replaced the Aero Club of America in 1923 and is the oldest aviation organization in the United States, responsible for keeping records and presenting certain awards. The pin shows an eagle bearing the letters NAA.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:About 1/2" height and 1-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety pin.
