1920s National Aeronautic Association (NAA) Sterling Lapel Pin by Balfour

This is a circa 1920s National Aeronautic Association of the United States (NAA) lapel pin in sterling silver by Balfour. The NAA replaced the Aero Club of America in 1923 and is the oldest aviation organization in the United States, responsible for keeping records and presenting certain awards. The pin is enameled in blue and reads NAA at its center.

Circa 1920s.

Approximately 1/4" in height and 15/16" in width.

Sterling silver, enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing.
