Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1920s or 1930s Police Commissioner badge from Danielson, Connecticut, a borough of Killingly. The badge is a shield with a large three-dimensional star at center and an eagle at the top.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 1-11/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with C catch.

None.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has only some small spots of light wear to the lettering and one tiny spot of oxidation.
