Description
This is a circa 1920s or 1930s Police Commissioner badge from Lewiston, Maine. The badge is in a smaller size as usually worn upon the lapel of a civilian police officer. It was made by C.D. Reese of New York. Lewiston is now the second largest city in the State of Maine.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with tongue-style catch.
MARKINGS:C.D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. NEW YORK.
