ARTIFACT:

This is an agent badge by Robbins for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The badge shows an avenging angel staying the hand of a man beating a horse at center and reads A.S.P.C.A. 28.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE:

2-1/16" height 1-3/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass with blue enamel lettering and details.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin and swivel part of catch missing.

MARKINGS:

ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO.
