ARTIFACT: This is a 1913 edition of "Successful Fruit Culture" by Samuel T(aylor) Maynard. This book was published by Orange Judd Company of New York. The title was originally published in 1905. There are several black and white photographs and illustrations. Most chapters are cameos on fruits such as the apple and pear; other covered topics include "Insect Pests" and "Fungous Diseases". The book has a table of contents and index, as well as a few pages at the end advertising other publications by Orange Judd. It is in very fine condition.

VINTAGE: Circa 1913.

SIZE: 276 pages with black and white illustrations and photographs; approximately 7-1/2" in height and 5-1/4" in width and 7/8" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper, cloth-covered.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: ORANGE JUDD COMPANY NEW YORK 1913; G. A. Nielsen written on first page with small used bookstore sticker at the bottom of page.
