Description
This is a badge given to the New Hampshire delegate to the 50th anniversary of Gettysburg, or the Great Reunion, hosted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The badge has a bar at top showing the busts of Grant and Lee along with their respective flags. The medallion hangs from a ribbon and is in the shape of the State of New Hampshire and bears the profile of the "Old Man of the Mountain".
VINTAGE:Circa 1913.
SIZE:5-11/16" length and 2-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze medal bar with painted details, bronze medallion and printed red, white and blue silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J. on reverse of medal and ribbon.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Badge shows very light wear except for a small spot of paint that has worn away and has a wonderful tarnish.
