1910s Cracker Jack Prize Miniature Paddle Wheel "Clermont" of Hudson River Steamboat Co.

This is a circa 1910s prize for Cracker Jacks, America's perennially popular peanut and popcorn snack. The prize is shaped like the "Clermont" of the Hudson River Steamboat Company. The Clermont was designed by Robert Fulton with a paddle-wheel construction, and became the first steamboat to provide regular, profitable and reliable passenger service. The body of the boat is hollow, and is made of white metal.
