Description
Lovely circa 1910's Delaware and Hudson Railroad Police badge in nickel plated nickel by C. G. Braxmar. Two pillars on each side of the badge, topped with a star and between them a round (raised) disc depicting a rail engine and reads: "THE DELAWARE AND HUDSON COMPANY". Around the center disc the it reads: "POLICE PATROLMAN" and below is a raised number "75" in nickel plated brass. Someone scratched "collector's item" on the reverse at some point.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910's.
SIZE:Approximately 2 - 1/2" x 2 - 1/8".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel plated nickel, nickel plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with scrolling 'C' catch.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Badge show light to moderate wear, nearly all of the nickel plated details remain intact. Someone scratched "collector's item" on the reverse at some point.
