Rare Ca. 1910 Steamboat Steamship Kapok Life Vest

The lovely and talented Valerie is modeling a circa 1910 steamboat life vest. It is nicely labeled as having met the approval of the Steamboat Inspector of the Department of Commerce. On handling this rare item, seems hard to imagine how such a vest could keep people afloat!

Circa 1910.

Probably one-size-fits-all, but about a medium or large.

Kapok filled cotton.

Vertical Pinback with "C" type catch.
