ARTIFACT: This is a 1909 National Rifle Association United States Regimental Championship winner medal. The medal is in 10 karat gold, and was made by The Hayes Brothers Company. It is named to the competition's winner, Captain P. J. Hamrock, 1st Infantry, Colorado National Guard.

VINTAGE: Circa 1909.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 10 karat gold (13.7 grams), enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Chain, suspension ring on medal, horizontal T-style pin on bar with tubular catch.

MARKINGS: THE HAYES BROS. CO. on bar; WON BY CAPT. P. J. HAMROCK 9-11-09 on reverse.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The medal shows only very light wear.
