This is a "No. 4" Portsmouth Fire Department annual parade ribbon from the 17th annual parade on September 10, 190The geranium-colored ribbon has a bar at top reading M. H. GOODRICH CO. and a separate medallion with the Fire Captain's photograph.
VINTAGE:Circa 1903.
SIZE:6-3/4" in height and 2-7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-painted aluminum, photograph, printed paper, celluloid, silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin on ribbon; rectangular loop on medallion.
MARKINGS:P or B (?).

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Ribbon is still a brilliant color and is in fantastic shape.
