1898 Portsmouth, New Hampshire Fire Department Annual Parade Ribbon

This is a Portsmouth Fire Department 12th annual parade ribbon from September 7, 189The red ribbon reads M. H. GOODRICH ENGINE CO. 4 and has a photo medallion with a logo for the engine company reverse.

Circa 1898.

5-1/16" height and 2" width.

Gold-painted aluminum, celluloid, photograph, printed paper, silk ribbon.

Suspension loop between ribbon and medallion.

Partial label would have read RIBBON BADGES FROM GEO. A. SANFORD 23 HAWLEY ST., BOSTON with maker's mark.
