This is a Portsmouth Fire Department 17th annual parade ribbon from September 10, 190The topaz-colored ribbon has a photo medallion of Chief Herbert A. Marden.

Circa 1903.

5" height and 2" width.

Celluloid, photograph, silk ribbon, paper backing.

Suspension loop between ribbon and medallion.

Partial label would have read RIBBON BADGES FROM GEO. A. SANFORD 23 HAWLEY ST., BOSTON with maker's mark.
