ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s – early 1900s badge from the New York 23rd Regiment National Guard Cadet Corps. The badge has a white chevron design at top and beneath it hangs a medallion that reads VIGILANTIA CADET CORPS 23.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s – early 1900s.

SIZE: 1-5/8" height and 7/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with red, white and blue enameling.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C" catch and chain links between pieces.

MARKINGS: JOHN FRICK NEW YORK on reverse of both pieces of pin.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VEX09 LAAEX 7/10

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Pin shows only minor wear.
