1890s-Early 1900s New York 23rd Regiment National Guard Cadet Corps Pin

This is a circa 1890s – early 1900s badge from the New York 23rd Regiment National Guard Cadet Corps. The badge has a white chevron design at top and beneath it hangs a medallion that reads VIGILANTIA CADET CORPS 23.

Circa 1890s – early 1900s.

1-5/8" height and 7/8" width.

Gold-plated brass with red, white and blue enameling.

Horizontal pin with "C" catch and chain links between pieces.
