This is a beautiful circa 1890s Scottish clan badge for Clan Fleming. Clan Fleming is an ancient Lowland clan. The badge displays the motto "Let the Deed Shaw" and has a goat's head at the center of the encircling garter. The badge is in silver-plated cast nickel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated cast nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
